Setting up Xitami Server

Download the stable version of Xitami from www.Xitami.com

Run Xitami Setup

Click Next

Click Next again

Select a directory to install Xitami
Click Next

Click Next again

Select No, I’ll start it when I need it
Click Next

Enter a username and password
Click Next again

Select Normal
Click Next

Click Next

Click Finish
Click Start

Start Xitami
If you already are running IIS you will get the following message

You need to change your server port

Because of network issues, we must change the port from 80 to 88:

open xitami.cfg in the C:\Xitami directory
open defaults.cfg
add the following lines to default.cfg:
       [Server]
       portbase=8    

Save the file and restart Xitami
It should display in your bottom tray
